how about misaligned incentives for students too? we too, have to get through the battery of tests for admissions. maybe not entirely for university admissions but almost entirely, barring DSA and appeal cases for secondary school and PSLE. and comon, dsa and appeal cases have even lower merit grounds than your standardised score thingum because MOST of the schools just want you to win awards/stuff for them.

waiting for the lofty suggestions eh.

actually misaligned incentives are everywhere. i thought its called the principal agent problem somewhat for that economic thing. hmm, maybe not. yes. lets try to have suggestions.
actually its really hard. hmmm. replacing stuff with stuff say you interview every kid will not truly solve the problem cos then instead of the hardcore muggers that pwn exams youll have kids that ace interviews due to great oratory skills .etc. its really hard to measure sucess as a student eh.

maybe we should just stick to what we have, bearing in mind its limitations and be flexible.
idk luh. oh well who cares about the education system? <- selfish agenda cos he will be out of the education system in like, 1 month.

thats the problem. everytime seniors dont give a shit about juniors. theeee whats it called, the selfish agenda problem? the inmate problem? ohwellll. if humans are able to work for societal max and trust that other humans work for societal max then everyone will benefit. maybe this will work if they kill anyone that has been selfish. i dunno.. then who determines whos selfish? Hmmmmm. thats why democracy works eh? cos the humans are too darn selfish to be trusted that you need a million checks and balances. maybe without democracy we can encourage a better place because the inherent er, assumption within democracy already EXPECTS politicians to go for their own benefit as opposed to national benefit no?
