[[]]

I think one big takeaway from what i've been reading is how the devil desires to control. But with God, not really, it is more a kind of willing choice.

I think i try to exert a lot of control. And I'm not sure whether that is right. In fact i'm pretty sure it is not right.

But I REALLY wanna control thooooo. Perhaps it is the ruler within me that really wants to rule and mould.

and so the dude runs and runs and runs. And he is tired but he presses on. And he takes a break, but it is merely to travel on further.

Striving appears to be futile.

I don't wanna be distracted. I dowanna be occupied. I wanna look at what I did and be glad of my choices.

[[Ukraine Russia]]

Comments about the Ukraine Russia conflict as of now.

War is bad (generally)

Invading another country is bad and wrong (generally).

Hence Russia's invasion of Ukraine is bad and wrong.

The west (or maybe USA) has invaded more countries than Russia (and arguably created more coups).

The west's invasions are not less bad than Russia's (arguably more bad).

The people who suffer the most are common Russians and Ukrainians. And it is a tragedy.

Geopolitically, I can see why Russia is angry with the west (or at least Putin is angry with the west), he is arguably justified in seeing them as an enemy though that doesn't justify an invasion and the subsequent loss of life morally but now i'm shifting into geopolitics and not morality.

Geopolitically, I think Russia's hand is very weak... (At least from the media that I read). The west is too strong still though, they act with impunity and nobody holds them to their double standards. For example, nobody sanctioned USA when they invaded other countries half the globe away with made-up reasons as farcical as what Russia is saying. But what to do, such is the reality of geopolitics.

And as the weaker power, I think the prudent strategy is to really bide time and let the west slowly implode under their excesses. For the strong do what they want and the weak bear what they can. But sometimes the weak thinks they are strong and challenges the strong due to pride. And they get eaten and help the strong to maintain their position. However, if you are moderately strong, you should bide your time and let the strong slowly decay as they are bound to do by being over extended and strike when the time is right. It is a bit like agar.io where the larger you are the faster you decay and the more you have to gobble, but it isnt worth for you to gobble small stuff by dividing. But you have to if the moderately strong are not provoking you and avoiding confrontation with you.

Instead of letting pride get the better and create a conflict that they cannot win. I think this too applies for China. But then again, what do I know. I am a scrub living in neither of these places.

Back to morally, I think war sux. It really is those stupid leaders that are trying to play their grand chess games. They should be the ones fighting each other.

Geopolitically, Ukraine is clearly a pawn in a bigger power struggle. I don't think the west have Ukraine's own interests at heart, and of course neither does Russia. But what to do, such is life when you are weak.

I think any government's main interest should be the welfare of their own peoples. And I think, Russia isn't particularly achieving this (from what I see), and the west, with all their failings, is achieving this more. Hence, they are stronger. The system of oligarchs is really not the way forward imo...

Strong government is easier with a weak population. But strong government with a strong population is when you can really wield power, like what the west has done for recent history, and what hopefully other countries can do in the future.
